Durham, NC — Just in time for the 2019 growing season, Sipcam Agro is introducing a new copper-based fungicide/bactericide for broad-spectrum disease control.
For potato and sugar beet growers, new Spinnaker fungicide delivers superior disease control with lower metallic use rates, superior coverage and rainfastness. Growers will also benefit from its outstanding dry flowable formulation, which can be mixed and used along with most insecticides, fungicides and foliar nutrients.
“Spinnaker position Sipcam Agro to deliver affordable, proven and powerful fungicides to even more U.S. growers,” says Gustavo Marcos, Sipcam Agro’s Product Manager. “Spinnaker is a great addition to our portfolio. It allows Sipcam Agro USA to have a comprehensive range of fungicide solutions for crops such as potato and sugar beet” says Giovanni Mattaini, Sipcam Agro’s vice president of Regulatory, Development and Industrial Sales.
In addition to Spinnaker, Sipcam Agro’s expansive fungicide portfolio includes Minerva®, Minerva® Duo and Brixen™ for sugar beets, proven weatherproof Echo® 720 for agricultural crops, fruits, nuts and conifers, pre-mixed Muscle® ADV for peanuts, soybeans and cucurbits, and Contans® WG, a unique soil-applied fungicide that breaks the disease cycle by attacking disease in the soil
